Celebrate another 50th anniversary with a puppet show.

This year, Long Island Housing Services put on a miniature puppet show to celebrate another special occasion: the 50th anniversary of the HUD Housing Counseling Program!

2018 isn’t just the anniversary of the Fair Housing Act. It’s also the 50th anniversary of the HUD Housing Counseling Program! To celebrate, HUD asked programs at nonprofits all across the country to send in a video wishing the Housing Counseling Program a happy birthday. The videos were supposed to be fun and creative, and at Long Island Housing Services, we took that goal to heart.

We had lots of fun putting the video together, but it wasn’t always a smooth process. Check out the “blooper reel” to see what went into the making of the video:
