Our job is to fight housing discrimination every day, but last week was so full of public events fighting segregation that we had to share it with you. Allocate $10 Million in the Budget to help New Yorkers avoid Foreclosure

New York State’s Foreclosure Prevention Services Network urges the New York State Senate and Assembly to work together with Governor Andrew Cuomo to allocate funding to ensure the survival of an effective and highly trained network of housing counselors and legal services providers that help families stay in their homes, help seniors avoid foreclosure due to reverse mortgages and give teeth to the comprehensive foreclosure reforms the Governor led last year.
