As I wrote yesterday, I often write to you about Long Island Housing Services‘ civil rights work fighting housing discrimination, as chronicled in the media stories.
Our work also includes overcoming housing insecurity on other fronts. Today, I wanted to tell you what William S. said about our foreclosure prevention team:
When I was at my “rock bottom”, going through a divorce, and foreclosure, Long Island Housing Services assisted my processing the foreclosure paperwork. Their support for me did not end there. The team at LIHS was always there for me with advise, and a caring approach to other situations in my life.
The team at LIHS truly cares about people, and I have the greatest appreciation for everything they’ve done for me over the past few years. I highly recommend LIHS to anyone who needs assistance from a small issue, to a more serious financial problem. THANK YOU LIHS
